Today my friend from SFI, Monica, and I had some free time so we decided to go back to my house and make some cookies. Monica is the only other person in SFI that is my age. It’s nice to have her back in the class that I am in, because for a few weeks we were in different classes! She is from the Philippians but moved to Sweden to live with her mother and Dutch step-father.
We used a recipe I found on Pinterest (http://www.roxanashomebaking.com/caramel-chocolate-fudge-brownie-cookies-recipe/). The cookies look so good in the recipe, but ours didn’t turn out exactly like that! However, they were still not bad! They were supposed to be fudge brownie cookies with caramel. Maybe they didn’t turn out well because we didn’t let the dough sit in the fridge for a hour. We didn’t have enough time to wait that long so we took the dough out a little earlier than the recipe called for.
It was fun baking though, we turned on some Swedish music while we worked! They also made a good snack for our fika break at SFI.
Well that is what I did today! Hej då!
